We have been having fun around here! So much that I'm staying up until 2 am to document it all:) Let's back track a little...
We had snow in February! Stop rolling your eyes metroplex people...it was exciting for us! We had almost 5 inches! It was so pretty and snowed all day long!

Morgan definitely preferred coming in from the cold and drinking hot cocoa. So much that she's asked for it almost daily since the snow day!
Shortly after our snow day, Uncle Jason (and BMom) stopped through Temple to pick Brad up. Brad's grandmother suffered a stroke, but is now on the road to recovery and doing better. The three of them went on a road trip to Houston for a quick visit. The girls love Uncle Jason. He tickles and wrestles them just like their daddy!
The first week of March we had some visitors from Abilene! The Tylers came to Temple and I got to watch their older girls for the day. To say that Mallory and Morgan had fun with Kaiden and Jordan is an understatement:)
The Tylers will always be special to us. We lived in their house the first few weeks that Mallory was born. We had already sold our house in Abilene and they were in Nebraska during a deployment. They graciously let us "house sit" and live in their home until we moved to Temple. Good, good friends!
We were all excited when spring started showing up! One of the perks to being a coach's daughter is having a whole soccer field to yourself for the afternoon! The girls went out with Brad for an afternoon while he got ready for his camp. Mallory was super excited to dress like a "soccer girl", so we did the whole get-up. This is what I ended up with when I asked her how soccer girls pose:

About three weeks ago, we all came down with a virus that kept us housebound for a week straight. Morgan thought this was a perfect time to potty train! I was sooooo not ready for that (maybe because of the flashbacks from March 2009?? Cue "Psycho" music and knife jabbing!). I had to give in when she started running to the potty and going before I could even get in there...on the first day!! I am still in shock that it's done (well, during the daytime anyway). Her little bottom is adorable in panties!!! Poor thing needs a diaper to fill up her backside, but she's already mastered the "Jim Furyk move" to pull up her pants. Does anyone else notice it, or is it just Brad, making fun of me?
Luckily with potty training, we all get to enjoy the treats that come along with big accomplishments:
I tell Brad all the time how great it is to live so close to family. We got to be at Julia's first soccer game in Waxahachie a couple of weeks ago. She definitely looked and acted the part!! She was a pro running up and down the field. She was right on the money when she came off the field, sat down and told her mom, "All that running makes my legs hurt!"
And finally, Easter weekend. We had so, so much fun. Friday night we made a quick trip to San Antonio. We got to attend LaShay and Steve's church for their Easter program. BMom, Pop, Nanny and Aunt Tweetie were all there, too! Sadly, I have no pictures. But I did get to eat an Alamo Cafe tortilla...mmmm!!! The girls loved seeing Aunt LaShay on the stage singing. Morgan learned sign language and Mallory prayed the prayer at the altar call:)Our neighbors outdid themselves with our cul-de-sac party on Saturday. There was pizza, silly string, confetti eggs, a pinata, a HUGE egg hunt and then take home bags on each of the kid's doorsteps. The girls had so much fun!! Mimi and Grandpa came in town for the day. I think they enjoyed the festivities just as much!
Mallory had an egg hunt and party at her preschool. She loved having us there to watch her and eat lunch in her room.
Easter morning. This was after Mallory threw a fit over her dress! She cried and cried when I put it on her. She kept saying she didn't like the dress because it wasn't her favorite color...pink. I told her she had to wear it on Easter (of course they had to match!), but maybe after, we could find a little girl that would appreciate the blue and green dress. Seriously. Drama much?
I have a feeling there won't be much of a blogging hiatus now....we're about to add a family member soon!! Kelly is going to be induced in a little over a week with baby Will!! We are so excited and anxious to meet Tate's little brother!! I have a feeling the girls will go gaga over that sweet baby boy.
