Table for four please...

That's right. We will become a family of four around December 17! We are thrilled about the news and interested to see what Mallory does when this baby comes into the world. They will be 18 months apart...should be fun!

I am very proud of my self control though. We have known since April 13 and I have held the news in until yesterday when all of our family was in town for Mother's Day and Mallory's baby dedication at church. That might be a record for me in the "secret keeping" category.

Anyway. I am about 9 weeks along and dealing with a little more "sickness" than I did with Mallory and the tired-ness is kicking in. Brad came home the other afternoon while I was taking a nap. I said, "Hey, I'm sleeping for two here. Don't give me a hard time!" Good thing Mallory takes 2 long naps everyday!!

And onto his/her first picture. We think he/she looks like a little frog, so I've nicknamed him/her "Froggie":

Wow! I think my last comment to you was quite appropriate now! You are glutton for punishment!! Ha! ha! ha! I am TOTALLY kidding!!! Isn't it amazing how guys don't get the sleeping for 2 thing?? I am so excited for you and Brad! All these new babies!! I am so excited Hayden will have some pals and I'm excited that another roomie is going to have 2 kids as well!! Yay!!! Mallory will do great with a little sibling. It is so much fun to watch them plus you now have another reason to take more pictures. Oh, you think it was hard getting one to smile and sit still. Just wait! Ella and Hayden will get positioned just right then my batteries fail, Hayden spits up, and Ella decides she doesn't want to hold Hayden anymore. UGH. I need to hire a professional baby picture arranger. Ha! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

What a relief it must have been to finally have your news out in the open! That must have been really hard. Michael just saw your sonogram and asked if you had an affair with Kermit the Frog. He didn't even know that you call him/her Froggie! So funny!

Yeah, Mere I have a feeling I'll be calling or emailing you a lot after the little one arrives. You have been there and done that...pretty recently!

Tara, it will be fun comparing stories on our blogs...and going through madness together!

Jody and Janell, thanks for the encouragement! It's totally not the same as twins (you guys are super parents!), but I guess sort of close:)

Everyone else, thanks for your congrats!! It makes it even more exciting!

Congrats again, guys!

It's funny that I can totally see 'the frog' now. I couldn't really see it when you showed me on Sunday - I was thinking, "Huh, it must be a pregnancy thing." But now I do. And you're right - he/she looks like a frog!

Great job keeping the secret for so long. Which makes me wonder, how long is your dad's record for keeping a secret?

See you on Mallory's First! (Wow! Has it already been a year?)
