You didn't ask for it, but I'm going to give it.
If you are pregnant or about to be pregnant, and planning on living on one income after the kid is born, buy diapers now!! That was by far the best advice I received when I was pregnant. Brad and I started buying diapers in different sizes when I was about 14 weeks pregnant. Once a month, we made a trip to Sam's, and bought a big box of Huggies and wipes. There were about 10 boxes stacked up in her room by the time June came.
Mallory is almost 10 months old, and I just now had to buy a package of diapers and wipes for her. 10 months people!
Just for fun, I calculated how many diapers and wipes we have used in these short 10 months. I came up with approximately 2,000 diapers and 5,000 wipes. And, we have saved almost $500 by purchasing them in advance. Dave Ramsey would be proud.
So, there is my 2 cents.

Good advice. We bought a ton of diapers as well, but suprisingly, we didn't buy enough of the smaller sizes. What we did buy was a lot less then if we hadn't.
very good advice! I will have to take you up on it when we decide to have a little one! I am impressed! I met one of your nurse friends on Sat. at a garage sale! I can't remember her name....but she said to tell you hi! The garage sale was across from my parents :~)
I know Dave RAmsey would, indeed, be proud as we are. Remember the friends at church who have the only son, Josh that went to Brazil with us. He is about to graduate and then Terri & Scott (his parents) found out they were expecting a surprise baby? The baby was born in December. She told me this weekend that she has a "Diaper Angel." Someone, she doesn't know who, leaves a box of diapers on their doorstep each week. Isn't that an awesome ministry? I love it.
Can't wait to see you guys this weekend. Love you.
