Night #2 was successful. Morgan went to sleep at 9:15 and woke up at 3:00. She cried on/off for about 35 minutes, then she slept until 8:15. So, hopefully tonight will be as great too! I thoroughly enjoyed getting 5 hours straight of sleep!
The only con to this "Ferberizing" is that I think we may have a thumb sucker. This really doesn't surprise me, Morgan has had her hands or feet in her mouth since she was about 3 months old. For a while, she was sucking on her two fingers. Yesterday and today, we have really noticed her thumb in her mouth. I guess that is what she does to settle herself down at night. So, Tate, you might not be the only one!!!

Brad and I decided that since we aren't getting much sleep because of Morgan, why don't we go ahead and move Mallory to her big bed next week? Might as well get all of the big transitions out of the way, right?
Or, maybe we'll enjoy the sleep we are getting for a couple more weeks!

Good for Morgan! Audrey slept 8 hours before needing to be fed last night. I didn't need my usual Sunday afternoon nap today. I can't describe how wonderful it is to be fully rested! I hope all goes well as Mallory moves to a big girl bed!
Thumb suckers unite!
(Tate asked me to leave that comment.)
After catching up on the blog, I think I'm already too tired to have kids! On the other hand, I am used to being sleep deprived...we'll see. :) I've never braved a restaurant by myself either, but I think that old woman must've been missing her grandkids and she was glad you were there! Strange...
