Doesn't it seem like the appendix is just a waste of space? There is no use for it, and it usually gets inflamed at the most inconvenient times. Don't you think?
I was supposed to leave today to be the "IV nurse" in a clinical trial in the metroplex. Unfortunately, the patient that was lined up for the trial, ended up in the ER with appendicitis. Our plans changed drastically and I'm actually okay with that. Brad has the weekend off and we'll get some quality time with him instead! And, maybe, just maybe, I'll get around to those blog posts I've been putting off for...forever!

The medical community has been trying to figure that out for years...we'll ask God one day.
