The season premier of The Office is on tonight and we can't wait! Brad and I started watching this show when it first came out and got hooked pretty quickly. Michael is a dork. I always feel uncomfortable for him anytime he talks. Dwight is odd. The Jim/Pam saga is good. Although since they kissed, I'll be interested to see what happens.
I've always wanted to work in an office setting. I guess it was back when I would get paid $3/hour to help my dad at his office inputting data all day long. I would think that I was so cool when I would get a drink out of the break room fridge...or take a donut off the table (like they were for me). I mean, I was only 13 or 14 at the time. And dad would buy me a snack from the snack machine. Good times. I also like all of the office supplies. You can have all the highlighters, post its, pens, finger wax for sifting through papers fast, staple removers, staplers, copy machines with staplers in them you want. I was the same way with school supplies. And the smell of warm copy paper...brings back lots of memories.
I wonder what type of "office employee" I would be....

I love The Office too! I think I would be a good ofice worker. I worked in an office while in college and I enjoyed it. I'm sure it's all different when it becomes your career. I thought grading papers was fun once. Strange how things change. Thanks for the update on Meredith. That's wonderful!
What kind of office employee would you be?
O Dear, Shannon! You shouldn’t have asked!
Something tells me that you would be just as concerned with having season-appropriate cubicle decorations as you would be with finishing that crucial report before its deadline.
Each day of the week would be assigned its own highlighter color. And because you would only have 4 colors, you would use purple twice (Wednesday’s and Friday’s) because it’s your favorite of all highlighter colors.
The highlight of every office birthday lunch: Shannon’s ice cream sandwich dessert!!
Employee of the Month, for sure!!
Brooke, you are right about how it would be if it were my real job. Probably not as exciting. So, what did you think about the episode tonight? I want Jim and Pam to get together! Michael is a buffoon!
Wade, you are right. You know me so well:) My ice cream sandwich dessert was always a hit in the ER when I would bring it. Mmmm, that sounds good right now.
Well...I saw Jim & Pam on the Today show this morning and she said that tonight's episode would answer all of our questions. Um...NO it didn't!! Is Jim really going to stay at his new office? Bummer. (I didn't really like any of the employees at his branch!)
Poor Noelle, I was holding her while we watched and kept waking her up when I laughed.
Anyway, Chris wanted me to ask if Brad has tried out his gay-dar. :-)
The Office season debut . . . not that funny!
