This one's for Brad

Today's entry is for Brad. He is a huge UT fan and "supposedly" it is a big game against Ohio State today. So, we all donned out burnt orange to support the longhorns. Mallory really enjoyed the ESPN college game day as you can see below. She talked quite a bit, more than usual. Hopefully after tonight, I will have a very happy husband. UMHB plays this afternoon at 5:00. So, go Crusaders and Longhorns!

Continuing with Brad. We ate at this hamburger place in Temple yesterday. It was pretty good. After we were done, Brad asked for a quarter to play Ms. Pacman (no, he didn't have to ask, he just didn't have any change on him). I gave him one and off he went. After about 10 minutes of playing, we left and got in the car. While he was bragging about how he doubled the top score, he turned the AC up and lifted his arms up toward the vents. He broke a sweat playing Ms. Pacman!! His excuse was that it was hot in there. I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and had no complaints. Guess it was his mean Ms. Pacman playing skills getting him all worked up! I love it and him. Go longhorns and Crusaders!

Hey dad! I knew I'd have to talk about football to get you to comment!

Tim is excited about the game as well, and he said he thought about making a trip to Belton to watch it with Brad, but it is not on cable. hahaha! He can't use you guys for your cable anymore! Just Kidding!!

Shannon, I went to Classic Collections yesterday and you sold 3 things!!! Way to go!! I will be sending you a check!

Hope you guys have a great day!!!

Love,
Kara

I can see that Mallory did what any good Aggie would do: spit up when her parents put her in t-sip clothing!

I hope you know that the comment above (and the one on the "manly hands" posting) was made by my husband. Hopefully Mallory and Noelle can be friends despite the rivalry. :-)

I saw your posting on Kelly's blog about not being able to return stuff to Target w/o a receipt & it happened to me today!!! I was so irritated. But at least it didn't come as a total shock.

Hope all is well at your household even though the longhorns aren't doing so hot right now. (It's in the 3rd quarter as I'm writing this.)

Kara, I still can't believe I sold something else! Crazy!

Chris, it's not spit up. Her mouth is watering for another national championship! (that's from Brad by the way)

Sarah, of course Mallory and Noelle can be friends (even if they don't wear the same colors). It's nice having Mallory around the house during football season, Brad doesn't yell nearly as loud! Yeah, the Target thing is REALLY annoying. I might have to write a letter:) We miss you guys. It's fun to keep up this way!

Sorry Brad!

I agree about having a baby in the house around football season! There was definitely less yelling at the TV yesterday. :-) By the way, I really like the picture of Mallory watching gameday. I'm sure that Noelle will be up to that soon, too.

You shgould have dressed Mallory in that pretty Blue and Gold T shirt. They were Big Winners this week!!!!!!

Corry's soccer team lost their first game 0-2. Started an hour late and practically end in the dark. It was also cold and foggy in San Leandro, just cold in WC!!!

Guess who...GO BEARS!!!!!

Hey Brooke! A group of us in Abilene rented out a booth at an antique store called Classic Collections. I had stuff in there since March probably and it is just now selling. It's not anything fancy: some fabric, a duvet cover I made, old tennis rackets, a lamp shade, a chair I re-covered and painted...just random stuff. I had fun doing it.

Hi Aunt Barbara! Always good to hear some Cal banter:) I was waiting to hear from you guys! Sorry about Corry's game. It is not fun losing. Tell him to hang in there!
